In a church where the Husband is the Pastor, the one with the call of ministry but the wife is a career woman, working in the marketplace with no defined role in the church, delegated assignment, or simply does not have the call of ministry; she still deserves the honor, respect and accolade that the husband receives.
She is not just the pretty lady in heels, designer handbags and skirt suits sitting beside the Pastor. She is a helpmate. There are sacrifices she has made as a wife; sacrifices she has made as a mother for the sake of the church and for her husband to fulfill his role as Pastor. There are burdens she carries just because she is connected to the man of God.
To the Husband (Pastor) set the standard and the members will follow.
Wear your wedding ring especially when invited as a guest speaker
Acknowledge your wife at the pulpit and in conversations.
When you make her presence felt the members will look beyond her high heels and respect her as the first lady, and your helpmate.

Who is she?
She is the lady behind the man of God. A strong woman, and an anointed woman. The heels do not define her, it is what she does behind the scenes to allow her husband to lead the church.
